Stone Projects

I wanted a spot off the patio to put the barbecue grill, so came up with this, using leftover stone I had accumulated. I pieced it together, added smaller stones in between, and filled the spaces with granite and small pebbles.

I made this "landing" off the patio out of landscape rock. First, I laid out the design using the large flat stones. Then I set smaller stones in between using mortar. It didn't turn out exactly as planned--some areas need to be repaired where the stones didn't stick to the concrete.
